Colonel Fairus, from Malcon Unifil soldier of PBB is in briefing now..This operation is going to be a nightmare.This is confidential meeting.This is special operation and only special force can accomplish this operation.There is a map.This map capture by GPS(Global Positioning System).They are focus in watching the target area.There are also plan the tactical and strategies to accomplish this special operation.Somehow, they also must alert about the target area that have civilians.They are innocent persons.So, officers have to obey with the parameter.Only shoot to the target.Never ever make mistake.This is undercover and stealth mission.

MALCON COMMAND ROOM

TIME: 1000
“The risk is great.We’re authourized to offer you anything you like”,said Malcon Unifil Commander.
“Anything?” said Colonel Fairus.
“Anything” said Malcon Unifil Commander.
“A mission like this into hostile territory, gotta be a two-man operation.So, what I want is good observer.

TIME: 1100
“Good, send him in.” said Malcon Unifil Commander.
“He’s here.They brought him straight from the plane.”
“Reporting with Mr. Kamarul as ordered, sir”, said officer.
“Sit down, Mr. Kamarul.Shall I refresh your memory?” said Malcon Unifil Commander.
“No.I doesn’t need refreshing.One mission”, said Sergeant Kamarul.
“Colonel Fairus, meet Sergeant Kamarul”, said Malcon Unifil Commander.
“Commander, may I have a word with this man in private?”, said Colonel Fairus.
“By all means, Colonel”,said Commander.
While reading Sergeant Kamarul profile, Colonel looks into his eyes.
“And you were an Army Sniper?”, said Colonel
“GGK 21, 7 real-world mission.Four as an observer, three as a shooter.Three confirmed!”said Sergeant
“Couple questions, Sergeant.We’re at 750 yards at 19-degree angle.What’s the difference between the points of aim and impact?”, said Colonel.
“Well, how tall’s the target, man?” said Sergeant.
“Five feet, 10 inches”said Colonel.
“23.17 inches high, and you’ll need to dial six up three,”said Sergeant.
“And when your time comes, what will you say?” said Colonel
“I ain’t gonna say nothing.I’ll just shut up and die like a soldier,”said Sergeant.

ON THE WAY TO DROP POINT

TIME: 30 SECONDS TO DROP..
Colonel Fairus and Sergeant Kamarul jump out from the helicopter in 7 feet high.They run smoothly to the point.They will meet contact at 2015.
TIME: 2015
Looks like and old man walking to the flower shop.This two guys also walking to that shop.
“I am the one you are looking for”, said old man while pretending such as they doesn’t make any communication.
“He is our contact”, said Sergeant.
“Did you bring our package?”, said Colonel.
The old man put out something from his bag.
“The photo of Thonchai Sar is only a few days old.The others one of the building around the Ministry of Defense.The one with the corner window is very high and close.A clear shot”, said old man.


SNIPER POINT
DATE: 30/03/08
TIME: 0730
Colonel Fairus is focus with his weapon.The target will arrive soon.It’s all about time.Sergeant Kamarul are looking around with sniper telescop and doing some calculation.
“Two hundred and eighteen yards.Give me two up one.Full-value wind is one to three.Give me a half left.Igot a five-degree angle”,said Sergeant.
“Don’t worry about that.It’s not enough of an angle”,said Colonel.
“They are here.Black Mercedes with escorts”, said Sergeant.
“Right on schedule.Wind?” said Colonel.
“Same.Target’s out and moving”, said Sergeant.
“Ready”,said Colonel.
Breathing……
“Diversion’s set.Head shot.Fire”, said Sergeant.
“Target’s down.All right, lets break down the hide and did out of here to extraction point.The mission’s over.We are going home”, said Colonel.

EXTRACTION POINT
TIME: 0745
They are running to the extraction point.They must arrive to extraction point before get capture.If that situation happen, mission will be failed and may be they gonna killed by Thoncai Sar’s soldiers .It just like a suicide mission.They are lucky to arrived to the extraction point.Helicopter is waiting while few soldiers get cover the parameter.They must alert.Why?Because, in split seconds, they gonna die if there is a mistake.

ON THE WAY TO BACK HOME
TIME: 0835
“We are lucky Colonel”, said Sergeant.
“Yes, we are lucky.Thanks God that I gonna back home now…and..may be this is my last mission before retire.Good to do the mission with you, Sergeant”, said Colonel.
“My pleasure to do job with you, sir!” said Sergeant.

Persuading people?

Methods that I use in persuading people?Hmm…Ok.I remember now.It happen when I serve in Darfur, Sudan as a peacemaker.Serve them as a peacemaker of MALCON PBB.Then I have to present about the mission in there.This is my story…
Persuading?Yes, I gonna persuade the peoples of Malaysia to help Darfur.It is terrible there.Civilian war.Government army, rebel fighter, death,suffer….
So, what are the methods to persuade them?Let me plan well.Hmm…where is my tactical briefing board?It’s ok.I’ll find it.

METHODS:
· Melancholic tone
Officer have to use this kind of tone in order to persuade for this situation.Officer should able to make the audience also feel what the Darfur peoples feel.Heart to heart.
· Visual aids
Picture speaks more than words.Use visual aids for your support while persuading them.Peoples are belief about what they see.
· Clear picture of the situation
They may be doesn’t know really well as you officer.So make them get the clear picture.Make it crystal clear.
· Emotion
Audience is human being.They have emotion.So manipulate their emotion.
· Give them honour
Make them feel that they done the job in honour way of live.Good peoples always do honour job.
#Officer have to proceed with routine procedure after learning about this methods.This is just the methods.There is many more things that officer have to learn in order to persuade peoples.

How to convince people?

How to convince people?hmm...what a good speaker should have in order to convince people to agree to his/her idea?Good.We gonna discuss this matter now.
I have received the promote letter.I have been promoted as a speaker of army in Department of Communication.I don’t like to speak but I have to speak really………….well and of course, there is something that I should have and learn in order to convince people.Enclosed with the promote letter is reference of the way to convince people.

· Confidence
This is the most important thing for a speaker that should have.Confidence, which lies in you. So better look inside your heart.
· Evidence
When you speak, show them the evidence.Why?It may be a rumour when there is no evidence.Nowadays, rumour is not trusted.Speaker should not make their selves such as in rumour perspective.
· Right tone/suitable tone of voice
Speaker should be able to manipulate the tone of voice.Melancholic, patriotic, coherent, exhortation and so on.Then, the people will hear your voice and you have feedback in the right matter and situation by the right tone.
· Ensure the matter of topic
Speakers have to ensure the matter that he/she want to speak.The data, fact, and all regarding the topic.
· Style
Speaker should have the style that makes audience feel interested to listening.Politician, academician,and so on.They have the style in speaking.
· Rationale
Make the topic is rationale in the perspective and context.

Application of the skills...in future.

Application of the skills…in future.
Future…who can predict it?Somehow…I have prepared well. I will surely use my skill in my daily live and future.When I will use this skills in future?Good question.I explain to you now.
There are so many fields that I can use my skills in future.In working environment, during presentation, party, give some advisor or may be motivating others. So, I always learning and preparing for my future.
It is important to learn this interesting subject .Why?Because one day, may be I will give some speech or join a forum about my experience while serving for PBB as MALCON soldier,perhaps.I can imagine how I use this skill to inform or give order to civilian to clear the sector because there is a military operation there and…of course, it is not easy as you think.We have to win the situation, make them clear and have ability to convince them.The method is…not to force them.Ask them to do by persuasion.They are civilian, and only soldier fight soldier..
“Propaganda”….do you know this word?Hmm…who know that one day I have to spread a propaganda before or during wartime.Propaganda is all about words, that can built or may be destruct a country.Why?Because this type of weapon use to poisonous your mind.Killing you slowly…
Leader should have ability to speaks well.Can you imagine when an army in Colonel rank do not have the skill in communication?Hmm…so how can he give some explanation to reporter?How can he built up his soldiers spirit and give them morale to fight for beloved country.How can he make his soldiers so brave to fight till the end of their life and willing to sacrifice anything although their own life…I will not be as this type of Colonel, surely.
Hmm…as dedicated to a soldier that fight for peace…may be in future, PBB will give me the medal of honour to me.Who know?There is nobody can predict future, isn’t it?Then, of course I have to speaks to the audiences that are well known all over the world.What I should said?Hmm…at the moment…I will surely speaks.
Hmm…we are talking about how I will going to use the skills that I learn during my public speaking course in the ‘FUTURE’, isn’t it?So….am I right for this situation?I think so.

Informative Speech..

Informative speech?It is hard job to me because I am not a talkative person..Silence in action is better for me.Anyhow, this is my task…I have to accomplished it.Strategy, tactical, technical, support and operation.I have to plan well..Where should I start?Is there anybody there who feels my vibration who show me the way to my task?
Preparation…the most important element that I should care enough and it is the basic routine in war..This is my war…Weapon will not begin, voice will all out!First, I have to scan the battlefield.Learn about advantage and disadvantage.Then, I will make the tactical.Let me give the picture of the battlefield..There is a king(lecturer), that judge this war.This king will look-out of me with a pen and a piece of paper during the wartime.The civilian(audience), my duty is to make them interesting and exuberantly.Fail to do so, mean I will suffer and the cost is..I lose the war..I will not let it happen to me.This is my war!Admiral(myself), should skillful, confident, smooth, calm and prepared.Get the clear picture?Crystal clear?Perhaps..

Officer will arrive 15 minute early before wartime to keep on stand by.Then, officer must ensure that all technical is ready.Do the action when officer get the signal from the king.Use the showmanship skill during the wartime.Please be alert, officer have to be obey with the time given.Finish the war with effectually and efficient.

During the wartime…
I have ready for the situation.Now is the time to show what I have learned and trained.Preparation have done well.Showdown in the presentation room..Walk in with confident such as Malay proverb,“laksana helang terbang membega”.The meaning is seems an admiral walk to battlefield.Sound system and slideshow not disappoint me.I have presented the facts with clear and catchy.Anyway, I still remember their reaction.Why? Because this is informative speech.The facts that I presented make them such as shock at that time.Cataclysm by ‘future weapon:computer virus’.Who know about this facts?Who really doubt about this topic?So, I show them the evidence, statistics and report about this interesting topic.Then they know about hi-tech that can cause terrible to us.
The king satisfied with my effort and presentation..Then, he declares that I won the war with appellation, “Agent Smith” . Still remember with the Matrix movie? :-P
The war is all over…
Who is my enemies in this war?Guess who?Actually, my enemies is myself.It is all about my willingness to overcome the stagefright, fear, doubt, low morale, moodiness and so on.
